Residential Program in Salamanca with Southern Spain Immersion Week

Residential program with two weeks of language classes in Salamanca, one week of Host Family immersion, one week of travel.

Program location: Salamanca & Southern Spain
Dates: June 19 – July 18
Ages: 15 – 18 years
Language prerequisite: Two years of High School Spanish*

*Exceptions considered with teacher recommendation

Salamanca – Ideal for a High School Spanish Immersion Experience

Spending your summer abroad in the culturally rich Renaissance city of Salamanca is an amazing experience. Youthful & spirited, this historic college town has many shops, cafés & pedestrian areas.

The Language School Homestay families live within a twenty-minute walk of the school and the Plaza Mayor, a beautiful 18th century baroque square in the heart of the city.

Your Trip at a Glance

1. Start off with two exciting nights in monumental Madrid!
2. Next, spend two weeks in Salamanca enjoying...
- A centrally located residence
- Morning language classes at Mester Language School , a prestigious organization dedicated exclusively to teaching Spanish in Spain - opportunity to earn three units of university credit
- Afternoon & evening activities & excursions, such as swimming, soccer, salsa or flamenco dance lessons, tapas tasting, cooking workshop, horseback riding…and more!
- Spanish Language Partner sessions with local Spanish college students
3. Followed by Host Family Immersion Week in and around the beautiful Andalusian capital city, Seville, speaking only Spanish.
4. Finally, up to a week of travel to some of the most amazing destinations in Spain - Madrid, Segovia, Toledo, Cordoba, Granada, Seville and the beautiful beaches of Nerja on the Costa del Sol.
