You can choose from squash, archery, 5-a-side football, badminton, table tennis, tennis and snooker. Alternatively these evening sports opportunities can be replaced with a soccer coaching session.

WORCESTER CITY FC GAME/PLAYER MEET & GREET

You will travel to Worcester to watch Worcester City FC play a league game. Afterwards they will be given the opportunity to meet the players, get some autographs and ask questions.

SOCCER TENNIS TOURNAMENT

This game is basically tennis with a soccer ball and is a fun way for you to practice your ball skills.

FIVE-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT

You will go indoors to the JJB Sports Centre where you will compete against each other or local opposition in a mini tournament on the turf fields. The teams will consist of three to five players depending on the numbers.

TRAINING AT THE CLIFF

The Cliff is currently owned by Manchester United FC. For many years this was the training ground for Manchester United’s first team and is still used by a number of league clubs.

TRAINING SESSION WITH PROFESSIONAL COACH

You will benefit from the expertise of an ex-professional player or coach who will give you an insight into the daily routine of some of England’s top athletes.

TOUR OF OLD TRAFFORD (MANCHESTER UNITED’S STADIUM)

This is an exclusive opportunity for you to visit the home of Manchester United, the world’s most renowned football club. There you will see the dressing rooms where stars like David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Christian Ronaldo have prepared for some of the biggest games in history. After the tour, you can spend time in the Old Trafford Club Shop and purchase memorabilia of your favorite players.

TRAINING AT PLATT LANE

Platt Lane is one of the training grounds used by Manchester City FC. It is also the training location of Man City’s youth teams.

PROFESSIONAL TEAM TRAINING/AUTOGRAPH SESSION

You will visit the training session of a Premiership or Championship team. You will have the opportunity to observe the professional players as they hone their skills. After the session the team will be available for autographs. This will be another chance for you to speak with professional players face-to-face.

LIVE PREMIERSHIP/FOOTBALL LEAGUE GAME

(Dependent on chosen dates of the trip these games may be exhibitions)
This is the ultimate cultural experience for any young soccer fan in the UK. The players will get to sit in the stands and join in with the fans as they chant and sing their team songs at a live game. After chanting their team to a victory and feeling the vibrant atmosphere this will be an experience your players will never forget.

CRICKET SESSION

You may have heard of cricket but never had the opportunity to play. Where better to try out this quintessentially English sport than in England itself. You will be taught the basic rules and have the chance to play during this session.

TEAMBUILDING EXERCISES

This is an opportunity for you to get to know each other.  These exercises focus on teaching you how to work together as a team as well as helping to improve individual self-esteem, confidence and leadership skills.

“TEST YOUR SKILLS” SOCCER COMPETITION

This activity gives you an opportunity to incorporate all the skills you have learned throughout our trip to England.  You will test your skills against each other to see who has made the most progress and there will be “awards” given to all students at the evening’s farewell event.
